10 Things I'd Tell My Younger Self

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

I saw a lot of these posts floating around a couple of months ago and I started writing one myself and then left it in the drafts section. I've bee add bits over the past couple of month to the post, saving it and then clicking off. I've been uming and ahing whether to post this post or not.

Not that the posts reveals anything personal as such, but I guess it brings back bad memories that I would like to leave in the past. But here I am making the final alterations and I find myself happy about posting it and wanting to post it. This is such a small list as to how much I would tell my younger self. This isn't even half of it but I've managed to list 10 that I feel I wish I could tell 16 year old me. If only time machines existed.
  1. It's okay to support a band so much, don't hide your love from them away in fear of being judged. Let everyone know.
  2. All those people treating you so badly? They'll make you a better person.
  3. It's okay to love Disney, you're NEVER to told of Disney.
  4. Not everybody hates you.
  5. Stand up for yourself. Don't let everyone walk all over you.
  6. You'll do great in your exams. Please don't stress yourself out.
  7. Wear your retainers, you'll only regret it in the future if you don't.
  8. Ask for help.
  9. Listen to your mum, she's always right. Always.
  10. You are beautiful.
What would you tell your younger self?
