The Autumn Tag

Sunday, October 18, 2015

If you read my post all about "Things To Look Forward Too" you know how much I love the Autumn season leading up to Winter. I love everything about this time of the year from the millions on layers, the dark crisp nights, the Christmas smelling candles and the berry lipsticks.  Megan tagged me in the Autumn Tag and I more than happy to carry it on!
  1. Ok, we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
I'm a Starbucks girl, if you don't already know that. The ever so famous Pumpkin Spice Latte is my favourite Autumnal drink. I do feel it is a marmite situation with PSL, you either love them or hate them. During the winter months my favourite is the Gingerbread latte. I can already taste it.
  2. Accessories - what do you opt for scarf, boots, gloves?I love wearing those winter boots during the colder months and I feel they are a staple during A/W, I love wearing them with fluffy, Christmas socks. Scarf's are another one of my loves, I feel they complete an outfit and they're also super cosy! Gloves are probably the worst accessory for me. Don't get me wrong they keep your hands warm and I'm all for that but the taking off and putting back on every time you want to pay for something or use your phone, is just too much effort.
  3. Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
My music taste doesn't differ between the seasons as I listen to a wide variety of music genre's anyway, although I do find myself listening to more calm, "indie" music rather than the up beat music that is generally associated with the warmer months.
  4. Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
Like my music, my perfume scent doesn't change during the colder months. My favourite perfumes are Ma Vié by Hugo Boss, Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs and Princess by Vera Wang. I tend to switch between the 3 all year round.
  5. Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
AH, candles, my favourite topic. I love candles, like to the point I have a serious problem. I love a wide selection of scents candle wise, although I do find I opt for the more sweet, sugary scents. I love both Autumn and Winter scented candles, but I do find that I don't buy a lot during the Halloween season and my collection is mainly made up of Christmas candles. I LOVE Christmas candles, anything Christmas scented and I will be right there at the counter buying it before you can say Father Christmas. Christmas Memories by Yankee Candle is my absolute favourite.
  6. What do you love most about Autumn? The excitement in the air, the crisp cold mornings and nights, the seasonal drinks and food (obviously), the crunchy leaves that are everywhere. There's just so much I love about this time of year.
  7. Favourite make up look?
    Anything with a berry lip.
  8. What are you most looking forward to in Autumn?
Definitely the lead up to Winter, buying presents for my loved ones, my little trip away to Edinburgh, it being a little more acceptable to watch Christmas movies wrapped up in blanket infront of the fire and burning all those candles.
