Topshop Innocent Lips

Topshop recently released their limited edition rose gold packaging for their 5th Year Beauty Anniversary. As soon as I heard that it was rose gold packaging, I was immediately excited to see what would be included in the collection. Topshop didn't release a new collection, instead they gathered up their best selling items and gave their packaging a make-over. My local Topshop got the collection in pretty quickly after the release, which I was quite surprised at, because my local high street shops tend to be wayyyyy behind the likes of the London stores. I'm a huge lover of the Topshop lipsticks and because I hadn't purchased any of these shades before, it took a few trips tooing and froing before I decided which lipstick shade I was going to buy. I choose the shade 'Innocent" and when I first saw the colour line on the packaging I thought it would be more of a dusty pink tone when applied. When the lipstick is actually applied it's more of a soft baby pink but I wasn't disappointed. My decision was made easier in which lipstick I would choose, as 'Innocent' matches a dress I have for a wedding in August perfectly!

It's super pigmented and you only need a couple of coats and you're ready to go! Looking back I wish I had bought some of the other shades of lipsticks as I'm so impressed with this one. This is such a summery colour and would be perfect for using when you're on holiday, as I feel pink lip products go with pretty much everything. Topshop lipsticks in my opinion are one of the best high street lipsticks out there, for £8 you get what you're given and now I own one more lipstick from the collection, I will definitely be adding to it.

Did you buy anything from the 5th Beauty Anniversary? Which product did you buy?

  2. The rose gold packaging looks so pretty, as does this shade! The Topshop near me (in Canada) doesn't sell their lipstick range which makes me so sad.

    1. Aw no way?! Maybe try other Topshop's to see if they'll deliver to you or maybe see if a UK one will ship to you?
